On Friday we had the good fortune of spending the evening at a father/daughter dance in the Waldo area of Kansas City. The dance was located at St. Elizabeth church and it was hosted by the St. Elizabeth 3rd grade Girl Scouts. The event was open to all St. Elizabeth girl scouts and their Dads. The theme of the dance was a 50’s sock-hop and it was so cute to see all the little girls in their poodle skirts and 50’s gear and the Dad’s in jeans and leather jackets. They had a hula-hoop and bubble gum blowing contest, dancing, ice cream sundae’s and 50’s style black and white photo strips from A Good Time Photo Booth. There were at least a couple hundred people and the photo booth had a huge line the entire night. We were so busy that we had to stay late after the dance was over because we still had a long line of excited girls hoping to get in the photo booth with their Dad before heading home. At the end of the night, everyone was able to go home with a fun photo strip and a great memory! At the request of the event host we will not be posting the photos on our Facebook page, but you can take our word for it that we captured some great memories for the Dads and their Daughters!
